Botox
"Facelift in a bottle", is a common phrase for Botox®. Botox® Cosmetic is a purified protein (Clostridium botulinum bacterium). It can dramatically improve and often eliminate horizontal forehead creases, scowl lines between your eyebrows, crow's feet, and vertical wrinkles of your upper lip. When small doses are injected directly into the muscles, impulses from the nerves to the injected muscle causing the wrinkles are blocked - allowing them to relax. This muscle relaxation allows the skin to smooth out those persistent lines that developed over time. Our Botox® treatment procedure usually last about 10 to 15 minutes and keep the muscles that cause lines relaxed for months. Botox® Cosmetic results normally last about six months, although results vary.

Although the results are visible, a treatment with Botox® Cosmetic will not radically change your facial appearance or make you look as if you "had work done." The muscle activity that causes frown lines between the brows is simply reduced, so you can still frown or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases between your brows. - 2. How long does Botox® Cosmetic last?
