Reversion Acne System
Specifically developed to treat all levels of acne safely and effectively. Created by a doctor, Reversion is a clinically proven acne treatment that not only gets rid of existing acne but also protects skin from future breakouts. The system includes three primary components to get rid of acne:
• Reversion Antimicrobial Wash (4 oz)
• Reversion Acne Medication* (2 oz)
• Exfoliating washcloth

Chemical Peels

If so, you’re certainly not alone. Most of us do wish we could maintain that youthful look of our early years. Chemical peels can help you look younger and feel better about your appearance.
Chemical peels work by improving and smoothing facial skin that shows signs of wrinkles, fine lines, uneven pigmentation, shallow acne scars, age spots, freckling, and sun-damaged skin. While there are several types of peels Vitae med Spa uses Lactic Acid and Jessner peels. These are used to rapidly remove the damaged layer of dead cells from your skins surface. This action stimulates health growth of new skin cells, reveals fresh undamaged underlying skin, and results in a healthier appearance.
• Lactic Acid peels – Peels in this group, sometimes referred to as “lunch time” peels, are quick, safe and effective. They are characterized by light to moderate penetration, short healing time (some require no healing at all) and minimal or no discomfort. These peels are excellent at improving skin texture and evening out skin tone. For maximum results, they can and should be alternated.
• Typical/possible benefits from lactic acids peels are: diminished appearance of fine lines and wrinkles – stimulation of collagen production, reduction of pore size, evening of skin tone, minimization of areas of discoloration, treats environmental/sun damage and some acne conditions.
• Jessner peel – This is a medium depth peel designed for more extensive damage. It is made from salicylic acid (a beta hydroxyl acid) lactic acid (an alpha hydroxyl acid) and resorcinol. Your Medical Aesthetician will apply a glycoli cleanser over your face to fully remove the oils and horny layer so that your Jessner solution will penetrate properly. Typical benefits/ from a Jessner peel are: texture, skin tone, fine wrinkle reduction and improve discoloration (i.e. age spots)

Dermaplaning
- Wish you could smooth your skin and remove blemishes without surgery?
Dermaplaning is a safe and effective way of exfoliating the outer layer of dry skin. While not it’s a surgical procedure, this technique uses a highly modified scalpel blade to remove the layers of dead skin one at a time. The newly exposed skin immediately looks smoother and fresher. This procedure can be performed on your entire face, it not only smoothes skin but also removes blemishes. Because Dermaplaning exposes the germinating layers of the epidermis, topical skin treatments are more easily adsorbed and penetrate deeper. People of all ages and skin types can benefit form this technique!
Dermaplaning is a great option for people who are actively using aggressive topicals (i.e. Retin-A, Retinols, Glycolic acid, or high strength Salicylic acids on a home care routine.
