Restylane & Juvéderm
As we age, our skin changes. Over time the natural volume of youthful skin begins to diminish as wrinkles and folds form. You don't have to just sit back and let it happen! Restylane®
Restylane® is a new product for smoothing wrinkles and enhancing lips that is completely natural. Restylane® is a stabilized hyaluronic acid in a clear gel that interacts safely with your body's own hyaluronic acid to increase volume. Primarily used for wrinkles, lines, facial contouring and lip enhancement, it can last up to 8 months. Unlike collagen, it requires no skin test and lasts considerably longer than most other fillers. Restylane® has been safely used in millions of treatments in over 70 countries. It has been FDA approved for cosmetic enhancement use. Restylane® is not derived from animal sources and therefore has very little risk of allergic reaction.
Juvéderm®
Juvéderm™ is a long-lasting gel that, once injected into the skin, literally adds volume to the areas being treated. Similar to one of the body's own natural substances (hyaluronic acid) it is a safe treatment. Juvéderm™ is an excellent treatment option for deep folds, lip enhancement, facial lines, shaping facial contours, and correcting thin lines around the eyes, mouth and forehead. Juvéderm™ is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that is proven to be safe and effective for persons of color. Studies with Juvéderm™ showed no increased risk of hyper pigmentation or hypertrophic scarring in patients of color. Informal feedback from practitioners reports that Juvéderm™ injects easily and smoothly into the skin, with less lumpiness than other fillers.
